Amazon Wholesale Business Training Series
________________________________________
Introduction
Welcome to Lecture 3 of our Amazon Wholesale trainingseries. In our previous sessions, we discussed
• How tomanually hunt wholesale brands without tools
• Product
research standards and approval methods
• Step-by-step
strategies to get brand approval in wholesale
Today’s session will cover Helium 10 in detail and how
to leverage it for automated wholesale product research. We’ll cover:
• The exact
criteria to find high-demand and profitable products
• How to use
Helium 10’s Black Box tool for research
• Exporting
data into a CSV file
• Identifying
“Me Too” sellers for brand approval
Tools You’ll Need
Before diving in, make sure you have access to these
tools:
• Helium 10 (Black Box Tool): Essential for data-driven product research
• Keepa Extension To check Amazon’s
stock history and price trends
• Jungle Scout or AMZScout (optional) alternative tools for revenue and seller count insights
• Use Google
Sheets or Excel to manage and organize brand and product information.
How to Identify Wholesale Products Using Helium 10: Research Criteria
When doing wholesale, we’re not launching our own
brand like Private Label. Instead, we’re trying to resell already existing
branded products by getting brand approvals. Hence, your research filters must
match wholesale-specific goals.
Basic Criteria Setup
Criteria Recommended
Value
BSR (Best Seller Rank): Less than 50,000
Revenue: Minimum
$5,000/month

3. Analyze the Results
You will see a list of products with:
• Brand name
• Monthly
revenue
• Number of
sellers
• Current Buy
Box price
• ASIN
• Category
4. Export the CSV File
• Click
Export to CSV.
• Open it in
Excel/Google Sheets
• Filter the
list by revenue, reviews, or seller count.
• Shortlist
potential products to pursue brand approval.
What Is “Me Too” in Wholesale?
When we say “me too sellers,” we refer to sellers
already selling the same product under the same ASIN. These sellers have
already been approved by the brand. That gives you a clue that the brand is
approving resellers, which is a green flag!
If a
product has 0 sellers, the brand might not allow wholesale selling.
If it has
too many sellers (e.g., 100+), there might be high competition or MAP (Minimum
Advertised Price) violations.
Use Keepa to Check Amazon Involvement
1. Open the
product on Amazon.
2. Use the
Keepa chart to see if Amazon is selling this product.
3. Avoid
products where Amazon dominates the Buy Box.
Brand Approval Outreach (Next Step)
Once you find the right product and brand:
• Visit the
brand’s official website.
• Go to
Contact Us, Wholesale, or Become a Distributor.
• Send a
professional email requesting reseller approval.
• You’ll
learn the email outreach process in Lecture 4.
Final Thoughts
Helium 10’s Black Box is a game-changer for
identifying profitable wholesale products. By setting the right filters, you
can:
• Discover
high-demand products
• Avoid
Amazon-dominated listings.
• Find brands
actively approving resellers.
Download the CSV, filter products based on our criteria, and begin reaching out to brands. In the next lecture, we’ll show you how to email brands for wholesale account approval.
